Kayce "Kay" Sheridan lives a quiet, comfortable life in a New York City apartment. She works at a bookstore and updates her blog in her free time. Dying her hair pink is probably the most daring thing she's ever done, and she prefers to curl up with a good book than to go out partying.
Bianca Forrest is an avid reader, adventurer, and artist. She takes every opportunity to travel out of NYC and loves to sing and doodle all over her hands.
When Bianca is hired at Kay's bookstore, the two immediately become friends. Bianca tries to convince Kay to immerse herself in the world and have more adventures. Kay isn't sure she's ready to leave her cozy apartment, and struggles to decide if she should begin taking more chances or resign herself to a simplistic comfort zone.
