"Don't you dare touch me again." she defies the monster. "I don't even think God is on your side," he says with a reeking smell of alcohol. At the same time, a loud thunder with the brightest lightning illuminates the sky, the rain pours heavily A tall man elegantly walks forward, evidently upset he glances at the girl with the corner of his beautiful crystal blue eyes, tearing apart the man who has dared to put his hands on the girl he's been trying to protect. "A leech like you would never understand the depths of my trust for this girl." The God of Water stands behind her, like a bodyguard. "Giving up has never been an option for you, perhaps taking the garbage out of your way can help you find your freedom." The mysterious man says. Just as he finishes his sentence, a bolt of lightning strikes loudly in the sky. He turns to face the monster as he freezes in shock, He knows, this time he won't be forgiven.

For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

So that's something, at least. ---------------- Isabell McVeigh is 14 years old when she has to separate from her adoptive parents. She winds up just where she was warned to stay far away from. The blood brood pack. She is forced to stay and is made an omega. She still has an escape plan, though it's going to take time to execute. Once the alpha steps down and his son becomes alpha, the command keeping her there will be null and void. Plus with everyone distracted it will be the perfect time to escape. She just has to hope she can make it until then and that she doesn't meet her mate. If she does and he rejects her, all he'll will break loose because that will be the start of it all. Will she be able to survive until her powers fully show themselves and she takes her rightful place or will she be found and extinguished before that can happen?

I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. My fur had gone from a snowy white, to a bloody reddish color. So much blood. I laid down. Maybe just a minute of rest. I saw Liam walk up to me. He looked down at me and smiled. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl. I was screaming even louder thinking I was going to die. But then I landed in somebody's arms. I reacted quickly and punched the guy in the face. He let go of his grip on me and I started running only to be grabbed by another person. I kicked the person in the shin and then stomped on his left foot making him lose his balance. Then I flipped him over my shoulder and onto the ground. I was about to start running again when I heard Madi's scream. "MADI!!" I yelled, I looked over to see some guy was lifting her off the ground by her waist. I ran towards him and jumped on his back. He let go of her and then she kicked him in the stomach. I jumped off and we started running but Madi got grabbed and before I could run toward her, the guy who grabbed her pulled out a gun and put it to her head. "NO!" I yelled as someone grabbed my arms and held them behind my back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alex and Madi end up getting kidnapped by the alpha and beta of one of the most powerful packs in America. The two are in for quite an adventure considering their terrible pasts. The two girls escape many things including; slutty girls, caffeinated drinks, new love and rival packs. The two also end up finding something about themselves that no one thought was possible.

"Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I pushed myself off of the cold floor for what felt like the thousandth time that day, wiping the small trail of blood coming off of my lip and down my chin. "I won't ask you again." My limbs felt like lead, these wolves had been at me for hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf, unbeknown to them was that their efforts would forever be futile considering the fact my wolf wouldn't make an appearance for me even when I begged.
