“Now, this won’t hurt a bit,” she said sweetly, “soon, you’ll feel so joyful you won’t know what to do with yourself.” Ally spat on the ground in front of her.  “I’d rather feel dead and lonely on the inside,” she said in a monotone voice. The nurse frowned at her.  “Don’t be silly Miss Walker. But,” she glanced over Ally’s records, “by the looks of things, if you keep this up, you will soon enough.”                                                   
The people of Arkaen have a problem. Their government is overun and, since the drug revolution of 2008, they have been controlling the emotions of everyone who lives there.  There only hopes of stopping them is “The Drug Run;” a group of misfits working with remissioned drug-addicts to bring back emotional balance and free thinking.  
Ally, Noah, Elias and Val are on a remission mission. This is their story.
