A continuation of the first anime series titled Clannad After Story produced by the same staff as with the first series, and containing the same cast of voice actors,[10] adapts the After Story arc from the Clannad visual novel, which is a continuation of Nagisa's scenario. The second season aired in Japan between October 3, 2008 and March 26, 2009 on TBS in 4:3 aspect ratio with 24 episodes. Of the 24 episodes, 22 are regular episodes, the 23 is an extra episode, and the last episode is a summary episode showcasing highlights from the series. Clannad After Story also aired in 16:9 aspect ratio starting on October 24, 2008. The episodes were released on eight DVD compilation volumes between December 3, 2008 and July 1, 2009. The eighth DVD volume came with an additional original video animation (OVA) episode set in an alternate universe from the anime series where Tomoya and Kyou are dating. The OVA episode was previewed on May 24, 2009 for a limited number of people.[11]
The license holding company Sentai Filmworks licensed the Clannad After Story anime series,[5] and Section23 Films localized and distributed the television series and the OVA starting with the first half season box set consisting of 12 episodes with English subtitles, Japanese audio, and no English language track, released on October 20, 2009. The second half season box set containing the remaining episodes was released on December 8, 2009. Sentai Filmworks re-released Clannad After Story with an English dub in April 2011.[12]
Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; one opening theme and one ending theme. The opening theme is "Toki o Kizamu Uta" (時を刻む唄 A Song to Pass the Time?) which goes by the same tune as the background music track "Onaji Takami e" (同じ高みへ To the Same Heights?). The ending theme is "Torch", and both the opening and ending themes are sung by Lia.

Fushigi Yuugi OVA
The entire Fushigi Yûgi anime series, including the three OVAs, were licensed for Region 1 release by Geneon Entertainment. The series was released under the expanded title Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play. The TV series was released in eight individual volumes that contained 6-7 episodes each. It was also released in two collectible box sets, with season one contained in the "Suzaku" set and season two named the "Seiryu" set. The first two OVAs were released together in a set titled "Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play OVA", while Fushigi Yûgi Eikoden was released as a single disc volume. The two box sets and the two OVAs were released with similar packaging, to give them a consistent look. All four of these sets were taken out-of-print and no longer available. With the closure of Geneon USA, the individual volumes may now also be out-of-print. On their Facebook page, the company Media Blasters announced that they have rescued the TV series and will release the first season in April 2012.[1] Fushigi Yûgi uses three pieces of theme music. All fifty-two episodes feature the song "Itōshii Hito no Tame ni" (いとおしい人のために?), performed by Akemi Satō, as the opening sequence theme. Yukari Konno's "Tokimeki no Dōkasen" (ときめきの導火線?) is used as the series closing theme, except for episode thirty-three which uses "Song of the Wind" (風の旋律 Kaze no Uta?), performed by Chika Sakamoto, is used as a memorial sequence for Nuriko. For the final episode, the regular ending theme is used along with the opening theme "Itōshī Hito no Tame ni." The episodes are summarized, below, using in-universe tone.Complete

She pretends it doesn't bother her, that all boys fear her and want nothing to do with a girl like her. All hope seems lost, until Sunahara stumbled upon a sobbing Sakagami. He comforts her and attempts to cheer her up, revealing to her his careing side, and that he acts the way he does, only so others can have a smile during a boring day, and also, that he truely cares for her, as a friend, or maybe something more. She changes her view of him, and soon finds herself falling in love with him. Not wanting to have her hopes crushed again, she decided to hide them, and feels content spending time with Sunahara, as he also changes for the better. ALSO, I'm gonna rewrite what chapters I had in Beating Heart because I feel they were way too confusing and needed more details in them SO BARE WITH ME PLZ. OH! ONE MORE THING, If you've seen the NANA manga series, then remember how every beginning of an episode had Hachi(Nana Komatsu) or Nana Osaki doing the whole 'Hey Nana...' thing, well I added those too :D Only it's gonna be Akari Honjo doing 'Hey Ren...' or one of the other main characters in this fanfic doing something similar.
