A monster child. That was what they all called Forsythia. It was just because she was found in the woods at age ten with no memories. She had a traumatic event that caused her to lose her memories. Edgar and Elizabeth took her in as their own daughter. It worked for seven years, until one night on the full moon, when everyone was supposed to be asleep in their boarded up houses, a scream echoed through the town. Forsythia followed Edgar when he said he was going to save the person. She found the girl before he did. The girl ran when the wolf's attention turned to Forsythia. She realized the wolf was innocent. But when her father saw her trying to comfort the wolf, he called her a monster child, and she ran into the woods, hurt by his words. She stumbled upon a castle where she met Lucas. He was a cruel man who seemed to not care about her feelings at all. She stayed away from him when she could, exploring the castle. She wished the castle wasn't cursed. She wanted to go home so badly. She discovered dark truths and learned about her dark past. Her life changed in a matter of moments. Her only hope to get through it was Lucas. Could he change? Could he actually forget about his terrible past and focus on what was right in front of him? Would Forsythia try and ignore the feelings she was developing for him, or would she tell the truth? Find out the dark and twisted journey of Forsythia and Lucas in this retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

A Beauty and the Beast retelling: Once Upon a Time... there was a cursed forest where animals who could live forever existed. The animals lived in harmony with one another and away from the prying eyes of humans. However, this immortality had an unimaginable price: if the animals were ever to be killed and die, they would turn into the worst possible thing imaginable... a human. As far as they know, no animal has been killed, until now. "The beautiful red bird soared through the ocean blue sky and perched on the top tree branch. There it sang the most beautiful tune. As he starred at the bird, he noticed how the feathers shined in the sunlight. The bird had a bright red body but the top of it's head was dark black. As he put his gun down he heard a shot and quickly looked up. The bird fell from the tree. It had been killed."

This is a clean romance. All I wanted from tonight was to sneak out of the ball to read in the castle's grand library and suddenly the prince is guiding me to safety even though he's the one they're after. In the morning we find out that the Light of the Realms was stolen and the castle is on lock down. All the guests from the ball must be tested to see who committed the crime and to top it off the Light of the Realms was what kept this kingdom safe and without it armies are moving in. Will we find the Light of the Realms before it is to late? Will the prince be ready to lead this kingdom into war if he has to? This is a sweet middle grade/ young adult romance. It is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Warning: This is a rough draft! So there will be spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. There are probably parts in the story that don't make sense, need to be changed, or characters that are acting out of character.

A beast prowls the west tower alone and confused around a glass vase holding a rose, its pedals dead around the delicate stem. Eternal winter freezes it's walls. The castle falls into darkness, never to see a humans love again. DISCLAIMER: i do not own beauty and the beast. All characters belong to Disney, however the story line and my own characters are mine.

"If I did...would you let him go?" "Yes..but you would have to stay here forever." I bowed my head, my mahogany waves come forward as a curtain to hide the shame written on my face. Forever?...Was I really willing to give up my freedom to a man who I just met? "You have my word." I heard myself say "Done." He sneered as he dragged my father by his shirt collar, leading him up the stairs and out of the damp dungeon.
