"You don't get it, darling." he said quietly, seeing the blond's eyes searching his own to get a read of his emotions as he spoke. "I got away from a cruel life, yes, but I didn't get away from you." he said, his voice now dropping into a whisper as he pressed their foreheads together. Draco's heart hammered in his chest. "I found you." And with that he left, leaving a stunned and very much confused Draco still pressed against the wall as he wondered what the hell did that even mean.
