Play with fire and someone gets burned... Forced to flee her hometown in Iowa and instead dwell in the depths of the Rocky Mountains, Zaylie must discover and control the extraordinary powers she has been gifted with by the Goddess while hiding from an evil, yet familiar man. With Jared protecting her, Zaylie feels it is right to trust him despite his strange reactions to her gifts, but can she really? *I began this in the 7th grade and successfully completed it the summer after my freshman year of high school (I am now a sophomore in college). After a few years I came back to this project and attempted to perfect it through A LOT of revision and editing. I know it is not the best or perfect story. However, I am very proud of my work on this. I those of you who read it enjoy it at least a little. Please be respectful and that this plot came from the young minded me.
