After Renee dies, Alex is brought into a world of death and destruction. He meets Amber, who has lived in that world all her life. What will happen to this unlikely pair? Will they die, or will they survive?

After tutoring a student one day Renee meets a guy who is different from her in many ways. This guys ends up being the reason she is about to face her past head on.
