Alex Black is 17. He lived a normal life, until his best friend died.
Renee Greene is 16. She lived a normal life, until she died.
Amber Rose is 17. She never lived a normal life, and she fears she never will.
After Renee dies, Alex is brought into a world of death and destruction. He meets Amber, who has lived in that world all her life. What will happen to this unlikely pair? Will they die, or will they survive?
