Not everyone could understand the Force, and some Jedi couldn't even feel the Force the way she did; the Force was always surrounding her, sometimes suffocating her other times comforting her. Master Yoda had taught her how to lessen the effects, how to 'keep it at an arms distance', but she could never fully master the skill; a hard truth to accept as it caused her to form attachments to those she was close to, the closet bond with her Master. However, it wasn't that bond she was worried about- as Masters and their Padawans form a bond anyways; the one she formed with her closest friend was the one she concerned about...
*Note* No Smut/Lemon/Sex- mentions of Sex but no actual written sex, a little swearing- maybe-, this is not a completely happy story- lots of death and strong themes, this is the 1st book of 3. Does not contain self-harm or suicide.

***A WATTPAD FEATURED STORY Sept 6th 2016*** "Yoda was not a master of the Light Side-or the Dark. He was between them." Luke Skywalker hears this from a mysterious Jedi prisoner during her interrogation and frees her to investigate what she means. Undercover for her own gain, she killed her Sith master to aid the Rebellion, but was arrested for intentionally killing a boy while she wore a warm sane smile... Luke---tormented with questions---resists the unresolved darkness within him from his father's death, and fights to learn the forgotten secrets of the Force: How did the Force originate and why? What doesn't Yoda trust me to know? Is her forgotten Light Side just as depraved and powerful as the Dark Side? Why was the practice of it forbidden and forgotten? Does her fearless play in battle come from a robust will or is she truly insane? Am I really a Jedi? ======================= Star Wars: The Ancient Force presents as a 280-page novel that aims to elaborate on how the Force works while providing a compelling new arc for Luke after Return of the Jedi. Dark yet fun and PG-13, it aims to keep within the Star Wars style. It uses only canon of films 1-6 to reinterpret and explain the Force, events, and character motivations while it introduces new complex characters, fixes loopholes, and provides depth to canon clichés. It is the first published work of a writer with over 13 years of experience in developing fiction.

Emeré Naberrie has always abided by the Jedi Code. After giving her life to the Jedi Order at age six and moving away from her family and home planet, she's done her best to be the best apprentice she possibly can to maximize her impact as a future Jedi Knight. Besides the occasional visit to her sister, she's never had any problems with attachment or emotion tied to her. At least until she meets the sassy and annoying red-head that she finds so impossibly endearing, and she finds herself wondering if being a Jedi is her goal... or if being with him is. {star wars, episode i} {obi-wan kenobi x oc} {first book in the 'my only hope' series} {complete} HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 in obiwan #1 in skywalker #1 in obiwankenobi #1 in kenobi #2 in anakin #3 in starwarsfanfiction #7 in starwars
