The Fifth Holy Grail War was 100 years behind her time. Now, a mana depleted Grail stirs masters and servants to once again vie for its coveted wish. Though, something is strikingly different with the device, noticeable to those who have encountered it before...but what?
(F/N) (L/N), is a 22-year-old American transplant to Fuyuki City, Japan. The Fujimura's welcomed her when she showed interest in visiting...that was two years ago. Driven, beautiful, independent, and caring. Singlehandedly, she has carved a well-known life for herself. (Y/N) has her coldness to the world, baring deep scars from it, kept well hidden behind a bright smile in hopes to leave the past in America.
When hurled into an alien existence of death and miracles, (Y/N) will need the help of a certain mysterious, cynical, arrogant spirit to survive. While she is no ordinary girl to be sure, she is far from a war trained mage.
Archer, competes again for a purpose. His current role in the universe is a miserable one. It will be altered, he swears it...but for better, or worse? And what fresh hell have the fates dealt by contracting him with a novice mage to syphon from?!
Will these two endure each other while waiting for the war to commence? Is overcoming themselves in order to work together even possible? And can they learn the greatest lesson of all from one another; that not all wishes take a Grail to realize?
NOTE:
1. If you haven't seen the Fate/Zero (4th war), and Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (5th war), the book builds off those, watch them first!
