Nina Gurzsky, the daughter of magneto was killed in 1973 along with her mother. With that she was presumed dead, but not anymore. Years passed(1999) but she had resurrected. She was an adult, she had changed so very much now. She had antlers, white and black hair. She had the symbol of light and dark in her body and mind.

She played sports and was in the theater group while in high school. One day, on her way home from school, she gets kidnapped by one of her dad's enemies and is handed over to Hydra. Selena was experimented on and a subject of the mind stone. She gained powers similar to the ones of another test subject, Wanda Maximoff. Alexander Pierce told her that a super soldier was going to teach her combat skills & that's how she met the infamous Bucky Barnes. She didn't know his name at the time because they all referred to him as the Winter Soldier. The two of them trained together every day. For weeks during the time they spent together, Selena and Bucky actually grew closer. Bucky kept Selena's spirits high and she helped him feel better after the punishments Hydra had given him.
