"Don't you dare, Juliette," he said, grabbing my arms. "Don't you dare think like that. Ever."
I didn't say anything.
"Why won't you tell anyone? Why won't you tell anyone, we can help you, why don't you understand that?"
Silence.
"You think no one cares, Juliette," Clay whispered. "But you forget that I'm here. I'm here for you."
I kept my eyes down.
"Juliette," Clay took my hands and scooted in front of me, bending down to try and catch my eyes. "I'm here. And I'm never, ever gonna leave you. We were supposed to meet at some point. And we were never made to separate. Where's that pretty smile? Where's that gorgeous, raspy voice?" he asked. "Huh?"
I slowly looked at him.
"My favorite eyes," he said.
"Just stop." I whispered, sniffling. "Please."
"No," He held my face and brought me to him. "I love you. And I'm never gonna stop."
