Broken promises

It was nothing more than a whisper.
But he heard her loud and clear.
He gave her his word and she knew his word meant a lot.
He filled her with hope and security.
Her heart broke and the proof of her heartbreak was on her facial expression.
She couldn't take it anymore it was to much to handle.
So many she want to say but the only thing that came out her throat trough her mouth was a heartbreaking sob.
He took her in his arms and felt the tears trough the material of his suit to his skin.
She pulled away from his embrace and with all the last of energy she had in her body she spoke
''You shattered my heart, you promised me you wouldn't.
But you did. And now I want you to accept the fact that you broke our promise.
I'm now Mrs. Van Santen so walk away and let me live my life with my husband''

He gave her one last glance and then he pressed his lips with hers.
