However, things take a turn for the worst during these games, with the tributes rebelling and the Capitol's gamemakers, hosts and president under pressure. The Mockingjay revolution got drowned in blood by the Capitol at the edge of victory. The remaining victors have all been executed. However, the Districts got better treated than ever before, the new president of Panem estimating that giving the rebels more liberty would prevent a new revolution. The only condition for this is the continuation of the Hunger Games. The Reaping is now far more just than before, only the children of criminals being chosen.
