It's been a year since Farkle left New York, Maya seems happy, dating one of Lucas's friend Monty, He's happy, He got his life back, He approves of his sister's boyfriend and he no longer has to see either of his enemies faces, until now.

Farkle returns as he doesn't feel comfortable being near his mothers new fiancé, he moves back to New York to live with his father, hoping to see if he could finally settle with Maya about his feelings, finding the heartbreakful truth - She's moved on.

"You didn't make your move when you could've" She expresses angrily.

"I didn't have a choice, if I had a choice I would've stayed. I couldn't do anything" I respond as I feel my heart sink deep in my chest.

"You could've done something" Riley states as she looks at her best friend across the hall.

"What could've I possibly done? Either way she's in love with him now" I say as I looked at Maya's back with sad eyes, her blonde hair waving as she laughed at her boyfriends joke.

"You could've asked her to wait" Riley reply sadly as she looks at me with sympathetic eyes. "If she truly loved you she would've waited" I stare at her and my heartbreaks at the realization - Maya doesn't love me anymore.
