Like Thieves in the Night

Gone are the cliques stories of the bad boy who falls for the good girl. At least in this Bonnie and Clyde style take on the lives of the top rebel girl and wayward boy of Calverson High School. Chase Fernandes and Scarlett Rhoers are sworn enemies while they roam the halls of the boisterous school. Each one constantly competing with each other for title of top athlete. With Scarlett constantly hitting home runs and grand slams on the diamond and Chase dominating the soccer field, tensions are tight between the two MVP's. Or so it seems to the rest of the school. While these two are rivals by day, when the moon comes out, the war paint fades away and the masks go on. What the rest of the school doesn't know is that Scarlett and Chase live next to each other in the only two remaining houses on the same dead end street and that they've been carefully concealed best friends since birth. When night falls, the partners in crime sneak out to steal, spy, vandalize, and cause as much trouble as possible. Known to the police as Nightcrawler and Stormrunner, Scarlett and Chase have been on the covers of wanted posters since they were in freshmen. They've now mastered the art and have never been caught once. They're there and then they're not. You never even saw them. But it becomes harder and harder to keep their night endeavors a secret when a little mischief turns into something much bigger and more dangerous. The government has been informed of the upscale in the severity of the crimes. The wanted posters now get the heading Dead or Alive. Scarlett and Chase know that it's time to stop their schemes but this is easier said than done. Chase is thick as stone but there is only one thing that will change Scarlett's mind. The only thing that she can't live without and the one thing she will go to the ends of the earth the save.
