Art of Letting Go
falling in love is like falling in an endless pit, you dared to jump in the name of risking everything, you gave your all, and depend to the love you believed was there, and somehow, it is the time where a cold fragmented ground of isolation started to form beneath the so called endless pit, forming on the sacrifices you gave, the care you offer, the light you shine to the person you love. now the only thing that keeps you floating is him, keeping the gravity away from you, the gravity that held you to the feeling of falling deeper to the feeling of an imaginary float. then one day, you lost him, you lost the only thing that is holding you to place, without the gravity you fear. your back hit the ground, your heart shattered in a million pieces and punctured your lungs that you couldn't breathe, the gravity is too much that you can't move or stand, you stayed there and let it devour you, you became miserable, you let the sadness eat your rotten flesh until youre a forgotten fossils of a skeleton of a sunken city. -Remy DeteraComplete

KISS ME NOW
"I'm going to kiss you now." Those were the most beautiful words a man had ever spoken to me. They were the start of my obsession. And the start of my life getting turned upside down. That night in the club, I was celebrating my new success (and luck) because I'd finally landed an investor for my budding company. I had no idea the hot stranger who would tempt me back to his place would end up being the guy who was cutting my checks. Lark is everything I want in a man, but that doesn't matter. Not at all. Because mixing money and emotions is a sin, and when you toss in the fact his ex-wife is his business partner, you'd have to be insane to think love is possible. I should say no when he locks us inside his office. I shouldn't spend the night while his ex is trying to destroy my reputation. I really shouldn't let his lips gets close when he whispers, "I'm going to kiss you now." But I guess I'm insane. Because I do.

When will you catch me?
It's hard to fall for someone you're not sure will catch you. Why is that? Why do we get our hopes up sometimes, thinking that the people we love can catch us, when we ourselves can't even catch ourselves when we fall because of the pain they give us? We're the ones who keep catching them when they get hurt, it's unfair because they can't even catch us when we're falling head over heels for them... But my perspective changed when I found out that she'd been catching me all along, I just didn't know. Because I was so focused on protecting and being afraid of losing what we built together, our friendship.
