Raikou always makes sure to take good care of Elizabeth and make sure she's safe and sound from any harm. Ash and the others have these rivals called Team Rocket who surprisingly, Elizabeth has never met before. She always wonders who they are and what they look like and being the curious girl she is, she kinda wants to meet them for herself even though her friends say they're bad and think she's crazy for that. A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.
