In another world and another time, a simple woman escapes the torture of her husband to find her origins, but such a treacherous journey is not without its own challenges. The first of many hurdles for Lillian is getting to the magical territory which she assumes to be claimed by the ruthless enemy, and the gruesome beast who dominates spooky tales, awaits in the form of a handsome young wizard, well groomed yet untamed, battling his own demons. Can Byron Black accept the light that Lillian brings? Will he reveal those truths that she so desperately seeks? Shamara, along with the world around it, depends on hearts mending to fulfil destinies; only together will the lonely souls achieve greatness... But, is a written future too heavy of a burden to bear? After all, it may be too late for those stubborn minds, leaving Lillian and Byron condemned to their eternal punishment. *WARNING! - contains mature themes & strong language. #Honourable mention - The RoseGold Awards April 2017 #Winner - The Celestial Awards 2017 *All rights are reserved, and no one may copy or use any content in this book without written permissions.

Lilianne Marineau, aka Lili, a struggling writer like you and me, wakes up to find herself in the body of Arielle Dumont, the female protagonist in her own, half-written novel. What would happen next? She sure as hell doesn't know. At first, all Lili wants to do is survive, and is overcome with the feeling that she had been bound by chains of her own making. Soon enough, though, she realizes she had been atoning for the wrong thing--and maybe, just maybe it was not her fault. A story of a writer who has to live as a character in a world she hasn't quite fully developed yet. A terrible writer with terrible concepts of magic in a fantasy world--and yes, there are glitches. TW: anxiety/depression/existential crisis esp in the earlier chapters, but quite mild, nothing we all haven't experienced before (I think anyone would reasonably panic in MC's situation). Still overall fairly lighthearted
