My Reason - Amelia Shepherd
Darcy Avery was an incredible cardiothoracic surgeon at Mercy West hospital in Seattle. She was slightly older than her younger brother, Jackson Avery. She had amazing dreams and wanted nothing more than to achieve them. Her mother, Catherine, was also a surgeon, an extraordinary one too., yet, she never saw Darcy for what she could be or what she was. Her attention was always on Jackson.
Darcy loved her little brother, but she was always, somehow, in the dark. He always had the spotlight and she envied him for that.
So when the hospital merged with Seattle Grace, she decided it was her opportunity to become what her mother never thought.
She decided to work twice as hard for her new chief so she could become Chief of cardiothoracic surgery and win incredible awards, such as the Grey Honour.
But what happens when Darcy meets the chief of neurosurgery? Will she leave her dreams of surgery for her dream girl?

This story is made up and may include certain storylines from the show, however, there are many things I have made up to go along with my storyline, like the Grey Honour award.
The characters are not mine (apart from Darcy) and the storyline's shown for side characters may also be borrowed from the show.
I will not be writing (any) smut. There may be an odd scene but I personally only like reading it, not writing it. I have added the 'mature' tag on the story but there won't be much in the book, sorry.
