While on the way home from the Land of Waves, Kakashi certainly wasn't expecting an accidental surprise attack from a dog and shinobi pair that act suspiciously like the Inuzuka.
I mean, weirder things have happened, but a band of shinobi with no headbands from any village that know both Zabuza and the Hokage on a first-name basis? And why does everyone except Kakashi himself seem to already know who they are?
A story in which Kakashi quickly begins to question things he never thought he'd wonder about when a strange woman shows up wearing a porcelain mask and leading a group of surprisingly strong shinobi. Sarutobi really needs to start explaining.

They have always thought themselves as better and he a demon. When he left he didn't know where to go until the Akatsuki came along and offered him a place to stay. Naruto was skeptical at first but then he realized things aren't always s they seem. He stayed but not long after he found romance and got pregnant with kids. They're not just anyones kids he was pregnant with but Itachi Uchiha's kids. 12 years later Konoha has seeked him out. They want him back but Itachi isn't so willing to let him go back to the place where he was treated like trash. Not with his children anyway. Also, people say that they have seen her singing with the souls of dead children before sending them away somewhere, probably to hell. What happens when Sairen decides to pay a little visit to the Village Hidden in the Leaves? Well, she finds out that it is loud as hell there. But, for some reason, she decides to become a ninja. (discontinued) In the Shinobi World, a scarce amount of humans believe in the existence of yōkai. Hatake Kakashi is not one of them. However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. After all, a world wherein peace is not a word that can easily be understood is a world with a whole lot more mysteries and therefore, also cannot be understood. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.Complete
