Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that. (Based on the show "The Walking Dead") Serina Rose Williams lives a very mundane and happy life. She lives with her motherly sister Lori, overprotective brother in law Rick, and adorable nephew Carl. However, it would appear that life seemed to have other plans for her. for she receives news that the only brother she has in her life, Rick was shot in the line of duty , and had entered a comatose state. Heartbroken, and grief stricken, Serina is not at all prepared when the world decides to end, only three months later. With no choice, Serina has to leave the only home she's ever known, and flee the city along with her sister, nephew, and her brother in law's best friend. They set up camp and try their best to live a peaceful life whilst the world as they know it, succumb to the walking dead. Serina must accept the rules of survival in this new world, while trying to protect her family, and withholding the morals she had in her owl world.
