Although this story features Daryl, he isn't portrayed as a love interest like most other fanfics. Ellie is a feisty 14 year old girl. She is convinced she can take care of herself and doesn't need anyone with her for help or company. Will her attitude change when she meets Daryl and his group?
The story begins when Ellie escapes from being transported to an army base. After the world descended into anarchy, it was decided that she would be safest there.
But she had other plans.
