What if one day, time stopped? You were just in car with some friends when, BAM! You were in a place where nothing happened and you were stuck. You look around and you see two worlds identical to each other but separate. Something pulls you to the less familiar one. The one that is what you know, but can't quite grasp. It seems right, but off. Like your reflection in a fun house mirror. Looking at the one you do know. The one from all your memories, and it seems distant. Something about it isn't right. You know you should go back to your friends and family but something says, "No, go to the other one! Things will be better there!", so you do. You go to the other place. The strange but familiar replica of home. When you get there, it's just regular Spinner's End. When you get there, you don't recognize the cloaked figure watching you through a window that happens to be your father. When you get there, you don't notice the magic.
When you get there, you don't realize that your whole life has changed.

She just wanted to get through school. Keep herself isolated, respond "I'm okay" to all the questions that bothered her when everyone else bugged her. She just wanted to show off her pride, to get through each day as they dragged by and suffocated her. She just wanted to be at school. To love everyone, to open up and show the world that she cared.
