Esme is a witch that holds the 'key' to unimaginable power. She just doesn't know it yet. She is plagued by the thoughts surrounding her mother's disappearance and her father's cold personality. Everything changes once supernaturals begin making their way to her once quiet town. From worrying about who to sit with she goes to worrying about what new being she'll meet. She meets another witch(warlock) like herself name Henry then a witty werewolf named Elijah. Now she fears that something big may be going on. Her once normal life turns upside down. She doesn't even have time to think about love but suddenly it becomes more clearer that she'll be faced with not only a series of mystery but an entanglement of love when the vampire Aiden surprises her with a truth to who she really is.
