Technically, this story is about a girl whose dad works as a mortician or whatever it is. She helps him with his work even though she is terrified of it. She  has no choice. Her dad is forcing her to work in a cemetery.  Her mother died when she was only 3 from a murder. The cops don't know who killed her, but Courtney has a feeling that it was her dad. As she works in the cemetery, She starts hearing and seeing ghosts. She finds her mom and they begin to catch up on things. They build up their relationship and her mother tells her who killed her.
