When Abby Sandford was hit by a car, her life changed. No longer being able to walk or speak, Abby could not sing her song anymore, or live her normal life. Strolling around in a wheelchair with a recorded keyboard to talk is not her ideal way to live. But, what happens when her crush, who has always ignored her, needs a song for his performance at the Grand Theatre, Abby has her chance to shine.

The outcome of the crash? Martha is scar for life and Conner...well he lost the ability to feel his legs . Everything could be different for Conner if he hadn't been in the car during the crash, but since his fantasy isn't reality he has to live with this main fact about his life. Until, Phillip Staffing, the jockest, cutest boy moves into the neighborhood. Well, actually next door.... Can Conner get past his fear on never being able to walk again? Would he be able to love someone? Conner has to figure what he wants in his life. Will it be the fact he thinks he can never get over his fear and talk to this cute boy or he will get over his fear and the cute boy won't talk to him....?
