It is the beginning of the apocalypse and Les is there at ground zero. After returning home for the funeral of a friend, his world in turned upside down by events that try his every sense of reason. The dead are returning from the grave, but not in the way that the world fears. They are completely sentient, but have no awareness of their time being dead.
