Mystery
Teddy Long comes a long way when it comes to his history. After being put on the trial for the murder of Harold Greenstein with two others, he explains how what he knows that relates to Harold's death. The question is, who is telling the truth? Will the backstories of these few people lead to the possible murderer, or just another setback for the jury's final decision? WARNING: THIS STORY WILL CONTAIN MANY REFERENCES TO REAL LIFE EVENTS THAT CAN TAKE PLACE AND MAY BE SENSITIVE TO SOME AUDIENCES. I AM ALSO A TWELVE YEAR OLD SO IF THIS IS AWFUL, I KNOW.

In this sequel of the Secrets. Lies. Murder. Betrayal. Guilt. Justice trilogy, the Ryder PD launches an official investigation into Eric Walker's homicide. This means questioning every single attendee at the Labor Day party, including protagonist Erika Slatten and two of her friends, Arthur and Kari-Ann. As the investigation kicks into gear, Ryder law enforcement is doing everything they can to interrogate students, friends and family members... Even if it means putting Jimmy Carter High School under daily surveillance to monitor suspicious activity or incriminating knowledge among students. The lead investigator is Gordon Marshall, a very close friend of the Walkers who knew Eric personally, and he is determined to get justice for the young man whose life has just been taken from him so soon. While Erika and her friends feel that their privacy is being violated due to the Ryder PD's constant surveillance of their school, they understand that it is important for them to come forward with anything pertinent to the case, or risk obstruction of justice. She forms an unexpected bond with Eric's mother, Sabrina Walker, and learns more about the past of the most "hated" guy at Jimmy Carter High than she ever realized. This gives her a change of heart by seeking justice with Sabrina for her only son that she's now lost for good. She suggests that the Walkers organize a scholarship event for the school to honor Eric's name and legacy so that he doesn't become a forgotten one. All this takes place during the investigation where a special friendship is put to the test, and suspicions are cast toward one particular person who may have been the last one present with Eric as they were taking him home from the party that night. In this story world of secrets, lies, and betrayal, relationships are being put to the test, and everyone is forced to come clean about their alibi and their relationship with Walker.
