I hear a sorrowful howl promising vengeance. Hearing the sound I let my head fall back watching the darkening sky as soon the air is filled with hundreds of howls mourning their late Alpha and sending their empathy to their late Luna's suffering. Listening my eyes close as the wind blows, listening to the beautiful melancholy of the pack's song.
"I always find this type of howl the most beautiful." His voice while was unexpected, was a welcome distraction from my self loathing thoughts.
