Elizabeth, was never one to believe in fairy tales, not even at a young age, when she experienced her first heart break, by the first man in her life; her dad.
That being said, she spent her freshmen year learning the ways of young hormone teenagers; and her sophomore year running from them.
Senior year starting, she didn't expect anything, 'exciting' happening, she felt as though, it would be just another year, but that all changes when handsome; careless, Eliot comes crashing down on her, there nothing else she could do except go into denial.
Beth's life was simple: go through school to get out, meaning she does have to be a bit of a good-girl. Once she finds out that the high school crush of every pubescent girl is the son of her father's friend, she's suddenly treated like the Queen of England. Her routines change as she is no longer able to go through her senior year peacefully. Will everything go wrong? Will her life be changed by one of the hottest guys in school?
Disclaimer: this story depicts bullying and abuse that I (a then 13 year old) was unbeknownst to exaggerated and socialized ignorance. I very much don't agree with some decisions to move the plot forward though the story isn't all that. For young women reading, the treatment and abuse of some of these characters is absolutely unacceptable and be aware of that. This is just a trigger warning.
