Often times when a Downworlder is attracted to someone, he/she acts upon it. But these two are the exception. Magnus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn. Vanessa Reed, a rogue vampire who can hide. These two feel the attraction when they bump into each other at Pandemonium, but they work hard to ignore. How long before that tension causes them to burst? Is this attraction just a fling, or is something more ancient at work here?
