At 19, Astroid Winters is sentenced to death for the assassination of Graham Everton, a political figure. Caught red-handed, Astroid is thrown into a high security prison located in the middle of the ocean.
There she meets Shade Parkers, an attractive, dashing man- who also happens to be a convicted murderer.
Both on the same terms, Astroid and Shade set out to escape before April 9th- execution day.
As though escaping wasn't tough enough, Astroid is hit by the hard truth when she discovers Shade suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, revealing an aggressive, destructive and violent side of Shade that will leave more then just a few bumps and bruises on the road.
