When a girl, named Safire, is trapped in a unsafe household, she finds herself running from her mother and in the arms of an unfamiliar face. Surprised by his understanding of her life, she moves in with him and it all goes to chaos from there as she tries to discover where his parents are and awaiting her plan ride to another place. Safire finds herself trying make up her mind about weather she wants to stay in the city with her new savior, or go along with her plans to leave it all behind.
