What if all we saw was black and white with very few shades of grey? What if we lived in a society where you weren't allowed to be different. If you were the slightest bit different, you would be seen as a freak, and treated like one too. In some places, you would even be killed for your originality. In this alternate universe, we follow a young girl who sees in color. She tries to fit in, but no matter what she does, it never works out. Can she change the world?

"The world is grey, it's simple, nothing can be trusted. For a child like me, who can I trust in this place with everything trying to take my life? That grey tree, it could fall on me, this grey building I hide in, it could collapse on me. Nothing is bright because everything is grey. People are the greyest of them all. That's how life is when no one can show you color. The two lifeless bodies who once shown brightly to me, they too are now grey. The two who showed me the world with colorful books are now cold and lifeless, blending with the grey. I too, would be joining them, eventually that is. That was something a child couldn't understand like a girl could. When one who has had nothing gains something, they understand. A girl who lost her two colors in the world, understood why color existed. It wasn't because the world is out for you at all times. It's because the one who is most untrustworthy is yourself. The girl learned after she gained her colors. She couldn't see her colors because she couldn't understand what she was missing. It's not that she was missing anything, it was that she was always concerned about what she was missing. In other words, you can only see color if you can gather the courage to stop doubting why you exist. That's exactly what the girl learned after so long. Years of her own self-loathing curiosity were only holding her back. A child who couldn't understand what anything meant, now a girl who can forget that and start living her own life with her own choices. 2D Girl in a 3D World
Fedora lovers and anime girl enjoyers often fantasize about how cool it would be if 2D girls were real. However, they rarely think of the consequences if one were to exist. A young man named Gabriel suddenly has to deal with this reality when one day, he makes a surreal discovery when he opens a portal to another dimension while trying to steal Piza Poteto from Japan via teleportation, of all things. In this story, I attempt to delve into what would happen if a Japanese 2D girl was introduced into the 21st century world we live in. How would one communicate to an anime girl without subtitles? How would a kid who's little more than a loser wage slave and does nothing productive have to change his lifestyle to accommodate his new roommate? Can you fall in love with a girl who is just as confused by 3D humans as you are by 2D humans? And can she fall in love with you despite being terrified of men?
