If you were the slightest bit different, you would be seen as a freak, and treated like one too. In some places, you would even be killed for your originality. In this alternate universe, we follow a young girl who sees in color. She tries to fit in, but no matter what she does, it never works out. Can she change the world?

How would a kid who's little more than a loser wage slave and does nothing productive have to change his lifestyle to accommodate his new roommate? Can you fall in love with a girl who is just as confused by 3D humans as you are by 2D humans? And can she fall in love with you despite being terrified of men? All these questions and more will be answered in this story.

"You're the color to my black and white world" has become literal in a future, dystopian society. Scientists have found a way to make people unable to see color until they meet their true soulmate. They felt as that not being able to see color would stop civil unrest and discriminatory barriers, and by the time they met their soulmate people would be mature enough to make proper societal decisions. Linnea, the story's main character, believes her childhood best friend is her soulmate, but she soon learns that there are tricks to this color system. Sometimes, color can be falsely seen in faint hues and sometimes, the person you thought was your soulmate really isn't.
