"I don't believe you." Three other guys stepped out into the glow of the blaze that was still roaring behind us. They were about the same age and build as the first guy. Two of them even possibly twins, and as I studied them closer I realized that they were slightly younger than the other two. He told the fourth guy, who he called rat, to search me. He patted me down and found nothing.
" He ain't got nothin' Boss." The "Boss" looked over and spotted something.
"What about that necklace?" He reached out and grabbed it. Before I knew what I was doing, I grabbed his arm at the wrist and twisted it around behind him and pushed up until I heard a pop out of place. He cried out in pain. I suddenly came to my senses and let him go, astonished at what I had just done. He stumbled forward and barked "Get him." Rat Jumped forward and threw a left hook. As I dodged his fist, I grabbed his forearm and wrenched it behind his back and kicked the back of his knee, causing him to fall on them.I held him there with his arm behind his back. I noticed a rough tattoo of a rat on his neck. I looked up at the others with a surprised look on my face.
"Any last words?"
"None that come to mind."
"Say, you faught pretty well for the shape your in. Whats your name?"
I thought. What is my name? "I... I Don't know."
"Well you're wearing dog tags, what they say?" I looked down and with my right hand lifted the tags up to read them in the red and orange glaze. One word was stamped out of the cold metal.
