As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Welcome to my first and only fanfiction about Joker and Harley Quinn, the two (surprise) main characters in this book. --You're just my favorite jester-- Love is strong, but sadly, not strong enough as - after a final reunion after more than a year separated - Joker draws the final line in his relationship with Harley, leaving her heartbroken with no one to trust - except for Poison Ivy and Black Seven. Meanwhile, Batman and Joker alike face one of their most dangerous enemies who feels nothing but hatred for both of them and has figured out a way to finally get rid of the Caped Crusader as well as the Clown Prince of Crime. Gotham's most evil villains join together in a fight that they seem to win, leaving no chances to Batman and Joker. Or...might a sudden change of heart save Gotham's citizens as well as it's criminals? It all started after the Battle of Manhattan. Will was going home to his mother, they lived in Gotham because of Will's mom career so he doesn't complain to much. But after a unfortunate run in, Gotham gives Will a good reason to hate it. But a family of Bats might just change that again and make Will part of their family. So hey guys for those wondering why I make a story like that with Will Solace. Well the reason is simple. I like Will he is probably my favorite PJO character and there are just barely any stories about him. Also I don't own any of the characters in this story they all belong to either Rick Riordan or DC. I only own the few OC's in this story.
