"Where to, Miss?" The driver inquired with a sickly cheery voice. Without an actual plan, I let my mind wander off to the busy city streets outside the cab's window. Where to? I honestly don't know. Why did I even hail a cab again? Words subconsciously rolled out of my tongue with in an almost-whisper, "To his heart...?" The man behind the wheel must've thought I was nuts. Yet again, he had enough etiquette to keep to himself and started the engine nonetheless. With a chuckle and a smile, he turned to me. "That's quite a tall order you've got. I'll try my best to meet your expectations." --- Man after man, I've sought for love only to be broken right after. It's turned into a common occurrence to expect the worst of people. After all, disappointment is inevitable from the carnal man. All I had to do was cry a little, get a move on, stand strong. But just when I thought I knew how to deal with the routine, he decided to pick up the remnants of my shattered heart. This time-- this time I no longer knew what to do.
