I got really bored one day and dropped Tony and Carter in the semi-medieval supernatural world. Faeries, werewolves, werecats, vampires, warlocks, and various monsters. Carter is prince of a place called Jamestown in a smallish country encased in war with rebels who would outlaw all supernatural beings. Tony is a werewolf and a tough but lovable guard at the Castle James who secretly has a crush on the prince. He's happy just to stand and watch from the door until Prince Carter's personal guard Eric retires. It's then that Tony enters the open tournament to become the prince's guard, certain that he can't let his only real opponent, the arrogant and slightly careless Michael win. Tony doesn't trust himself to be so close to the prince but he can't put Carter's life in danger by not. Guess he'll just have to try and ignore the way the prince likes to lean on him when he's drunk and how he so obviously yet quietly flirts with Tony.
