In the midst of supernatural disease and war, the Elves were trying to make the perfect army, perfect killing machines, that would be able to wipe any enemy from this Earth. Elves, who were once pure beings, bribed humans to give them their children in exchange for riches beyond imagination. Well, this was D's life. D's parents gave her up for their own selfishness. Lab test after lab test, D was filled with different supernatural blood until she changed. She became something else, something entirely different.
Once D got her powers and escaped the Laboratory from Hell, she had a personal vendetta. She was no longer the human scared of everything, the human she used to be. Now everyone feared her and said she even smelled like death. She is Death and she seeks revenge for her creators one by one. She is everyone's worst nightmare. She is a monster, the monster under your bed. She is only Death. She is only the beginning of your nightmare.

Jocelyn Green just turned seventeen and moved back to her hometown, a small complex by Alexandria, MN. She loves the smell of the lake and windy fresh air. But when the enemy, the Foreshadowed somehow get their hands on her, her family secrets crawl out and reveal a power she has no idea existed. The man tells her his name finally but he also reveals a dark horrible secret from his past which traumatized him for years, then she feels like she's actually falling in love with him. He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own. Taylor was literally born to destroy. The humans were in war with the vampires and needed a weapon to use against them so they made Taylor. Taylor is no robot she was born but the scientist made her in her mom to have amazing fighting skills and agility to be the perfect weapon. When the tables turn the vampires kidnap Taylor not long after she's born and they raise her as their own to use against the humans. She's commanded around like a slave and treated like trash by the vampires who basically own her. She knows she's a weapon but that doesn't mean she's emotionless. That's the down side to creating a human weapon they have emotion. They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do.
