Prologue
Mercy ran down the narrow streets, moving her legs as fast as she could. Running from what? Well, she doesn't know. At least, not yet. The streetlamps began to flicker and a loud scream was heard from inside an alley. All she really knew at that moment was to run. Her town was being raided by these monsters on black horses.... they carried long black blades stained with blood and dark hoods covering their faces.

They raced recklessly through the town on their dark mounts, slashing at anyone who stood in their way. Some of them even carried torches, using them to set houses and stores alight in flames. People ran everywhere, screaming and yelling for their lost family and friends. But Mercy continued running... she had to. Until she saw a little girl, no older than seven, sitting in front of a burning building, crying.

Mercy slowed, then with hesitation, walked over to the girl, avoiding being seen by the raiding party.

"Whats the matter with you? You need to get out of the open." She told her.

"But- but i don't know where my mommy is." The little girl sobbed.

Although Mercy had lost her mother when she was fourteen, she still remembers the feeling of helplessness.

"Alright. Come on... Let's go try to find your mom." She sighed.

A raider was drawing closer to them, so they had to hurry... and Mercy knew it.

"Run." She whispered to the girl, who was oblivious to the approaching attacker.

"Would you have killed that young boy!? Over a fucking purse!?"I shot back. It was a stupid temerity but I was willing to take the risk. "I would do whatever it takes to show that I call the shots"He menacingly replied. "Even with you"His voice dropped to a dangerously low tone. "Now you are just acting like a possessive and dominating freak"I replied with a roll of my eyes and a hiss. In a fluid motion, he quickly grasped my braids, dragging it. My eyes widened and I held on to his arm, wincing. "That's because I am. I own you. You belong to me. I'll always be the one you lust for and crave for. And if you try to act otherwise, I'll make sure I make you submit to me whether you like it or you don't"Raphael huskily replied, dragging my braids more. His words felt so sensual and yet so dangerous. I became weak in the knees and my breathing became rapid in pace. "And what if I don't want to submit to your orders, what will you do huh?"I taunted him. "Will you kill me? Shoot me? Stab me huh? Mr Raphael!?" I knew if I were to be someone else, I would have been dead by now. Raphael looked like he was seconds away from hitting me but I knew there was no way he would do that. "I won't kill you"came his raspy reply with his voice turning malicious, laced with cruelty. He pressed his body against mine and his hands fisted in my braids curling against my scalp. Shit. It was becoming extremely painful. "I'll punish you" In the blink of an eye, I felt his lips pressed forcely against mine. * * * * * * What if the hero in your story was the villain? "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

I clutched the gun to my chest. The blood on my hands, outfit and hair knotted with it. The body stared up at her, mocking her. I finished the job. But why did I feel so empty. The assignment was to kill the target, not everyone that I did. But they always said whatever it takes to get the job done. I killed people for a living. I was good at what I did... I enjoyed what I did. Memories were filling my mind too quickly to stop them so I just let them run their course. *** His weight disappeared from me and his hand grabbed the front of my leather jacket and yanked me to my feet. One of his hands were wrapped around me throat while the other was flicking a switch blade back and forth. I stared at it, flicking in and out addicted to the trance. I looked up as his voice interrupted me. "What am I going to with you Liza?" "I don't know brother. Why don't you tell me?" "Hmm," his fingers brushed my face. He was vulnerable; I stepped on his feet and watched as he yelped in pain. I reached for the gun on the mantle behind me. I cocked the gun, the safety clicked off. "Liza?" His voice was weak and frightened. "Please." He was always a good actor. His eyes were betraying his words. They were dark with vengeance and fury. His body lunged towards me. I pulled the trigger, hearing a noise echo in my ears. I dropped the gun on the ground. My feet slowly dragged my body over to Liam's body. His fair blonde hair was turning a darkish yellow red from the blood spilling from his lifeless body. Previously named: 'I'm Back, And Now I Have A Gun'

She hovered in the air with fear and disbelief. He had just crashed through multiple sky scrappers with the last one being the Empire State Building. It imploded over him raining down glass, concrete, twisted steel beams and large marble chunks from the floors and would have crushed and killed any normal person. He glared into her eyes with a loathsome hatred that burned deep inside him. His pitch black eyes and flaming retinas curled a thick black smoke up over his head and broke over his horns like waves. Smoke fumed and curled from his nostrils as he pawed the ground ready to charge at any minute. His massive black hooves had large serrated edges. His muscles rippled through his thick fiery red skin. His ten feet long black onyx twin edged horns looked more like fierce swords ready to slice her apart. They paled in comparison to his massive body. He weighed six thousand pounds and was six hundred sixty six feet tall and long. Each of tails had trident like spikes with barbed serrated edges. His spine was a row of six feet tall spikes that if she were to land on them, would turn her into minced meat. They had large thick barbs that surrounded them. This bull was Satan's creation and by his decree, was going to ensure that Draonai was going to die a very painful death. She was in the fight for her life and what remained of the human race. This is the second part of an on going series. I hope you all enjoyed part one and look forward to the reviews and comments and hope you all enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

"What is your name?" I asked, staring into her doe-like eyes. Almost immediately her face twisted in horror. Her eyes switched back and forth frantically like an exit would suddenly appear out of thin air. The sides of her lips turned downward like it was taking everything in her not to burst into a sob. The first time Mira saw him, he was bleeding. A cold night. A flickering streetlamp. He sat on the curb, knuckles split, blood dripping onto the pavement like ink staining a page. She should have walked away. Should have pretended she didn't see him. But she didn't. Instead, she crouched beside him, her voice soft but steady. "Who did this to you?" He laughed-a low, bitter sound. "Does it matter?" Mira didn't know his name yet. But when their eyes met, something inside her recognized him. Not his face. Not his voice. His pain. Because she had the same kind buried in her bones. --- His name was Riven. And trouble followed him like a shadow. He never spoke about his past. Never explained the bruises. Never asked for help. But Mira saw the anger in his fists, the exhaustion in his shoulders. The war he fought every time he looked in the mirror. And despite herself, she stayed. Even when he told her to leave. Even when his darkness bled into her light. Even when she knew-this would destroy her. --- One night, he showed up at her door, drenched in rain, eyes empty. "I did something bad." Mira's breath caught. "What did you do?" Riven didn't answer. He just looked at her, jaw clenched, chest rising and falling like he was trying to breathe through whatever monster was clawing at his ribs. And she knew. It wasn't just a fight this time. It wasn't just another wound to clean up. He had crossed a line. And now, there were only two options-run, or drown with him. Mira should have been afraid. Should have shut the door, called the police, saved herself. But love made people stupid. So she stepped forward, wiped the blood from his cheek, and whispered, "Then we leave. Together." Because blood runs thicker than water. And love? Love was the thing that made you stay-even when you knew it would kill you.
