It's a race against time to makeup for the mistake I have made.
But I can't make up for the lives that have been lost for my mistake which has now turned into a life or death situation...
Tamara Shells is a twelve year old girl who attends Bridgeside State Primary School. She isn't a teachers' pet, or a grade A student. The only thing she likes about school, is messing around with the teachers with her best friend, Adrian Jones.
After a stunt that caused a staff to quit their job for good, Tamara and Adrian are given a punishment their principal hasn't given them before.
She is to help with a stranger the principal hired every recess and lunch and sometimes even after school! Tamara doesn't find that fair, seeing as in she trains for archery competitions four days a week!
But as they say "Commit the crime, do the time!"
When Tamara and Adrian meet the stranger for the first time, Tamara has a strange feeling towards him. Not as in love, or fanciness or wanting to impress him. It's an uncomfortable feeling that makes her feel queasy whenever she's near him or he speaks to her.
But Tamara being Tamara, ignores the warning her gut is giving her and shrugs away the little voice in her head telling her to stay away from him.
But that simple "shrug" causes more than just an offence to the stranger. Never trust a book by it's cover, especially if it has the words "DESTRUCTION" hidden somewhere in the titles.
This mistake escalates from just a mistake to a life or death situation. And guess whose hands it lays in?
