That is, until her boyfriend of three years breaks up with her and she doesn't take it well. Grief is a funny thing, isn't it? Others go through the process and heal, and others try to avoid their problems, making the situation worse.

After her boyfriend leaves her for another man, she turns to drinking. As she drinks away the pain, she meets a man by the name of Rhett Evans. Rhett has a mysterious agenda and she is ultimately intrigued by it. He is 11 years her senior and he soon spoils her with lavish luxuries. As they get serious, London discovers some very dark secrets about Rhett.

Rhett Evans: A dangerous man. Rhett is on the run from his past. He owes some other dangerous men some money from his prior substance abuse. Rhett has stolen, killed, and framed others for his doings.

London is not as safe as she used to be and is now forced to go on the run with him too.
