Sage Winthrop is an aspiring publicist. When she finds out she has to take part in an internship for her last semester in school, she immediately begins applying at several record companies hoping to become a publicist for a major music star. When she get accepted to Matchbox Record's internship, she is excited. That is, until she finds out she'll be working with Black Dahlia's Smile and their infamous singer: Carter Masters. With Sage's luck, she is assigned to specifically keep Carter out of trouble for the 4 months her internship lasts. However chaos ensues when the straitlaced Sage and the hostile druggie Carter find themselves attracted to one another. Fights, laughter and drugs lead to a very Strange Love story.
