Rose Valencia was always the shy and unpopular girl in the back of the class. No one noticed her beautiful light blonde locks which she kept in a tight high ponytail. No one cared about her amazing abilities in the arts of dance and music. No one noticed how her greenish-blue eyes sparkled behind her thick rimed glasses when she looked out of the window in class. No one noticed her breath-taking smile that was adorned by adorable dimples. No one noticed her unique southern-British accent that she acquired from living up there up until middle school-because no one talked to her. No one knew that she knew fluent spanish from her Puerto Rican parents.
Until she decided she didn't want to be a social outcast anymore.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is when Kyle Parkes kicks in.
Kyle was new to the school, and girls were already at his feet. With his chocolate brown hair and green emerald eyes it was no mystery why. He was a bit of a nerd, but that didn't stop them. He was a very open-minded person, and loved listening to people's opinions. But, there was one thing he would never change his mind about.
True love.
When he looked into her eyes, he instantly felt a connection. Oh, and when he finally had a proper conversation with her, he was convinced. He loved her personality. How she laughed so much, how she snorted when she found something extremely funny. How she loved cracking puns a lot. Her smile. Her accent. Her eyes.
And-even if it took a while-she eventually fell for him too.
Okay, maybe it didn't take that long.

Okay! So this is the first story that I don't plan on deleting. I actually spent a pretty long time thinking of the plot. I was going for cliché romance, and I think I got it. I'll be adding pictures of the characters in the chapters, but you don't have to imagine them like that. You can do whatever you want to.
As Claire aims to leave her oppressive stepfamily behind, she befriends Zion. Will he be her ticket to freedom or a distraction in achieving her dreams?
