"Who are you?" I ask "I will save you Grace, I see it in your eyes," the guy across from me says completely ignoring my question. "Wh-What are you talking about?" I ask completely aware that he is talking about my veil. My veil is the thing that I use to keep everyone out. If I ever lifted my veil in front of someone than they would know everything, from my 'suicidal' thoughts, to abuse. "Don't fake with me, I can see through all that crap, you are not allowed to kill yourself," he says with a steely voice that made me want to hide "At least give me a month to convince you," "But-" I tried to object but he interrupted me "No buts, I have 1 month to convince you that you are worth it," "I will be your saving grace," The guy says using my name. He stood up and walked away. How could he see through my perfected veil? The only person who could do that was my dad, but he was long dead. My dad died in a car accident, and my mom committed suicide in front of me and her last words were "You were never the child I wanted," I've had a rough life but I don't want your pity. It doesn't matter anyway soon, I won't be around to care if you pity me or not.
