A story about Emmy Jane, a girl who has come to make a name and a place for herself in the big city of Delta Mouth, about Cal, a nightclub owner haunted by the ghost of his dead lover, and about a killer for the mob named Dapper Jack. It's a tale of death and redemption, of love and hate and jealousy. It's a tale of dream and of nightmares. It's a tale that is still mostly in my head, but as NaNoWriMo steams along, it is coming into being. This year, I've decided to post a read-along version through WattPad. Sharing this raw, first draft is sort of the literary equivalent of walking around in my underwear, but I'm doing it anyway. Feel free to follow along and point out any developing plot holes. Only to have the head of the French mafia realize that he was given stripper a few nights ago when Ravenna was undercover, they now have to pretend nothing happened and ignore their undeniable attraction as well as 6 years of burning hatred in order to defeat a bigger problem.
