In this world, each person is born with a tattooed necklace. Only one other person in the world has the same as you. This person is your necklace soulmate and the person you are supposed to spend the rest of your days with. Yet, there are some groups which are against this idea of a soulmate and decide to be with the person they want, they are called the "rebels". 
    Jane is a 17 years old teenage girl, living with her parents and her brother Hunter. Jane has already found her necklace soulmate since the age of 14 but when a new boy arrives at her school, she disturbed, he made her feel things she had never felt before and she starts questioning herself, her feelings towards her boyfriend and her future.
