Yesterday, she had been doing dishes, and everything else a young girl with normal chores would have to do, when her mother came back from someplace, probably a bar, judging by how she slurred her words and fell a lot of the times, looking restless. Her mother yelled at her, and that was it. Poof, she was homeless.
