Skyler Prescott has endured a lot of emotional pain every since she was a child. She has been training to be a shadow hunter from a very young age. Having constant bruises from training, but no amount of physical pain can amount to the pain coming her way. There is a constant fight within her of what the right thing is to do. Should she serve the shadow world first or chose her own feelings before the rest of the world? Her friendships are strained and her unusual bond to the parabatai is uncanny. Discovering her past with the Lightwoods and crossing paths with Camille once again won't be easy but she's determined and strong. Her institute is completely different to the one in New York so she will have to adapt and stay a little longer than she originally planned but that might not be the worse thing going on in her life. She's lost some of the people that she cared for the most which has hardened her as a person but that won't stand in her way of helping her friends take Valentine down, and just maybe she'll even gain a little love on the way, perhaps more than one.
